Nights are getting cooler. Days are getting shorter. There are some leaves changing color. Yes, fall is once again heading our way.
If you live up in the north like I do, this means a quick end to summer nights on the deck, enjoying the company of friends and family.
It also means that with less daylight, with less sunshine, and more gloomy weather, it makes it that much harder to defy depression.
The Fall & Winter Season requires us to double-down on our self care to help prevent and minimize depression.
September is also Suicide Prevention Month.
