Top 5 Books for Defying Depression

If someone came up to me and asked me, "Tom, what books can I read to help me get a handle on my depression?", here's what I would recommend.

There's 5* books in particular, and I am going to present them in the order I recommend someone read them who is trying to defy their depression through self-help.

Book 1*:  It's reader's choice really.  There's two books, you can choose either one, or better yet, read both.  But start here.

Both books are by renowned personal development expert and coach, Brendon Burchard.  For the easier read, in a story format, there is Life's Golden Ticket: A Story About Second Chances.

If you prefer something a little heavier but also easy to read, there is The Charge: Activating The 10 Human Drives That Make You Feel Alive.

The goal of these books is to shake up your negative thinking and open your mind to possibilities.

Book 2:  The Depression Cure by Dr. Stephen Ilardi, PhD.  This book gives you a tactical 6-step plan that you can put into action right away.

Book 3:  Limitless by Jim Kwik.  Jim Kwik went from being "the boy with the broken brain" to becoming a brain coach to the stars.  Read Jim's book to give your brain an upgrade.

Book 4:  The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.  With your upgraded brain, you can now set up each day of your life for success and fulfilment using Hal's methodology.  You also get free access to his huge online community for on-going motivation and support!

Book 5:  Change Your Brain, Change Your Life by Dr. Daniel Amen.  Trust me, just read it!
